Tanzania is our beloved country, known worldwide as an island of peace in East Africa. Since gaining independence in 1961, our nation has stood firm as a rock of stability and unity. While neighbouring countries like the Democratic Republic of Congo and Burundi face political and military conflicts, and Kenya experiences demonstrations causing great losses, Tanzania continues to enjoy true peace. This is the result of strong leadership by the Sixth Phase Government under Her Excellency President Samia Suluhu Hassan and the wise governance of Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM), which truly cares for citizens’ welfare.

Our peace is a great treasure that attracts investors and brings development. The government has allocated huge funds for education, health, roads and youth projects. There are no wars or major ethnic conflicts here. Instead, citizens live together with love and wisdom. This makes Tanzania a safe place to live and do business.

Some people are trying to encourage youth to hold demonstrations and violence. This is not the right way as it destroys peace, scares investors and denies young people development opportunities. The government emphasizes dialogue and cooperation instead of violence. Remember the words of Mwalimu Julius Nyerere: peace is more important than everything.

Youth are the strength of the nation. Opportunities are at home in agriculture, mining, tourism and technology. The government provides loans, training and support to start businesses. Do not run abroad; start here and build Tanzania together. Let us protect our peace by cooperating with the government and avoiding incitement to conflict. Peace is the key to our development.

God bless Tanzania. Peace and unity!
